July 17, 2011. This is roughly how our neighbor’s “addition” at the back of his house and alongside our backyard has looked since we bought our house in 2005.
Today. The past week’s unrelenting rain finally did it in. Thursday night we heard a loud crack and a whoosh. The addition, which withstood Katrina and every other storm this past decade, collapsed, as much as the vines would allow.
